ILOILO City – A jeepney driver claimed a trisikad driver attacked him with an umbrella.
Bernabe Villaniza, 52, of Barangay Legaspi dela Rama told the police the incident occurred while he was driving from De Leon Street to Iznart Street.
Around 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Villaniza saw an unidentified man driving a trisikad in the middle of the street.
Villaniza advised the trisikad driver to head to the roadside but the latter got irked and struck the former with an umbrella, a police report showed.
Villaniza was able to grab the weapon, and the trisikad driver fled, police said./PN
