ILOILO City – Police arrested a suspected drug pusher in a sting operation in Barangay Tuburan, Pototan, Iloilo.
The 35-year-old William Bayona of Barangay Lico-an, Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo was arrested after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover cop for P1,000, a police report showed.
Antidrug personnel of the Pototan police station staged the entrapment operation around 1 p.m. yesterday.
When frisked, the suspect yielded six more sachets of illegal drugs, the report added.
Bayona was detained in the custodial facility of the municipal police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against him./PN
