BACOLOD City – Charged with rape, a man was arrested in Barangay Punta Taytay.
The 72-year-old Feliciano De La Ramos of Barangay Pandan, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 3 p.m. on Dec. 19, a police report showed.
Officers of the municipal police station served the warrant issued by Judge Anita Guanzon-Chua of the Regional Trial Court Branch 63 in La Carlota City, Negros Occidental dated Feb. 20, 2014.
De La Ramos was detained in the lockup cell of the Pontevedra police station.
No bail bond was recommended for the suspect’s temporary liberty./PN
