SAGAY City – In broad daylight, a resident of Barangay Old Sagay was shot dead by two unidentified motorcycle-riding gunmen near the barangay hall.
Erwin Jore Yu was 31 years old and a resident of Purok Crotons B, Barangay Old Sagay.
He died of multiple gunshot wounds while being rushed to a nearby hospital.
At the time of the attack, Yu was with his mother walking toward the barangay hall.
The gunmen left after shooting Yu at around 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 15.
Responding policemen recovered from the crime scene seven spent bullet shells of a .45 pistol.
The Sagay City police launched an investigation. No suspects have been named yet./PN
