BACOLOD City – A man was found dead along the riverbank in Murcia, Negros Occidental.
Ropuerto Untal of Barangay San Miguel, Murcia was believed to have drowned in the Calibago River, a police report showed.
Untal’s body was discovered around 7 a.m. on Jan. 17, according to Lieutenant John Paul Tabujara, Murcia police chief.
The victim was identified by his 20-year-old nephew, Ernesto Valencia.
Officers of the Murcia police station ruled out foul play in the incident./PN
