BACOLOD City – He was crossing the road when a motorcycle hit him.
The 45-year-old chainsaw operator Ebar Villanueva was killed in a road crash on the national highway in Purok Kamunsil, Barangay Sampinit, Bago City, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
Villanueva – resident of Barangay Napoles, Bago City – sustained body injuries and was brought to Bago City Hospital where the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival,” the report added.
The motorcycle driven by 51-year-old William Circular, with rider Remia Palma, 40 hit Villanueva around 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
Circular and Palma were detained in the custodial facility of Bago City police station.
