BACOLOD City – In Hacienda Ricky, Barangay Paraiso, Sagay City a 48-year-old man was killed while another was injured after figuring in a road accident.
The fatality was identified as Julie Sadia of Barangay Paraiso, Sagay City, a police report showed.
He sustained body and head injuries, it added.
Police investigations showed Sadia’s driven Nissan Navarra with 48-year-old Antonio Balayon as passenger crashed into a tree after he lost control around 2 a.m. on Wednesday.
They were brought to the Lopez District Planters Foundation Hospital Incorporated in Sagay City where the attending physician declared Sadia “dead on arrival.”
Balayon, meanwhile, was later transferred to a hospital in Bacolod City. He already received medical treatment./PN
