ILOILO City – Three drug pushing suspects were arrested in Barangay Inzo Arnaldo, Roxas City.
Sunday night, the following were busted in a police antidrug operation:
* Kenneth Bermejo, 40
* Jeffrey Fernandez, 28, and
* Jose Cervalez, 40.
Bermejo and Fernandez were residents of Barangay Tanza Gua, Panay, Capiz while Cervalez was from Barangay VI, Roxas City. They were detained at the Roxas City police station.
The Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Task Group (PAIDTG) of the Capiz Police Provincial Office staged the sting operation against the suspects around 8 p.m.
An undercover police officer managed to buy from the suspects a sachet of shabu.
Nine more sachets were seized from the three, plus an improvised glass totter, two disposable lighters and rolled aluminum foil./PN
