ILOILO City – Two drunken men scuffled at a public market in Barangay Katilingban, Molo district. One of them was bruised.
A misunderstanding ensued between Noli Alan and Robinson Constantino during a drinking binge, a police report showed.
Alan broke an empty beer bottle and swung at Constantino but the latter dodged this.
Still, Alan managed to strike Constantino on the stomach, leaving the latter with a bruise, said the police.
Locals who saw the incident broke up the fight around 11 p.m. on Sept. 16 and sent the two home, the report showed.
Police were letting the barangay lupon deal with the case./PN
