ILOILO City – A senior citizen was arrested for illegal gambling in Barangay Gines, Zarraga, Iloilo.
The 74-year-old resident Consolacion Sumbo was caught soliciting bets for the illegal numbers game bookies around 11:40 a.m. on Sept. 17, a police report showed.
Recovered from the suspect’s possession were P405 bet money, gambling paraphernalia and Red Subay Gaming Corporation identification card, it added.
Sumbo was detained in the lockup facility of the Zarraga municipal police station./PN
