BACOLOD City – A 69-year-old man was arrested in his house in Barangay Jonobjonob, Escalante City, Negros Occidental.
Fernando Ybañez yielded two pots of suspected marijuana plants, a police report showed.
The leaves weighed about three grams and valued at P3,600, the report added.
The suspect was taken to the Escalante City police station around 1:06 p.m. on Aug. 26.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 would be filed against him./PN
