BACOLOD City – They allegedly sold shabu, police said.
Residents Roden Obedencia, 25, and Manuel Fracio were nabbed in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Guiljungan, Cauayan, Negros Occidental, police said.
An undercover cop initially bought from Obedencia
and Fracio a sachet of suspected illegal drugs for P500 around 3:30 p.m. on
April 18, the police added.
Cash amounting to P600 and a unit of motorcycle were also recovered from the
suspects’ possession.
They were detained in the custodial facility of the Cauayan municipal police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against Obedencia and Fracio./PN
