ILOILO City – Charged with carnapping, a 17-year-old resident of Barangay Jamin-ay, Calinog, Iloilo was detained.
Police identified the suspect as King March Caniel.
Officers served him a warrant of arrest at around 10 a.m. on Wednesday in Barangay Sumsiman, Calinog where he was hiding, a police report showed.
Judge Vicente Go of the Regional Trial Court Branch 68 issued the warrant and set a hefty P180,000 bail bond.
Caniel was detained at the Calinog police station custodial facility./PN
