ROXAS City – Family members of a suspected drug pusher arrested in Barangay Tanque, Roxas City claimed that the prohibited drugs recovered from the latter were “planted.”
The 37-year-old NoeBitoon was caught in a drug buy-bust operation on Sunday.
Officers from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 6 staged the operation.
Recovered from Bitoon were five sachets of shabu and the P1,000 marked money.
According to Bitoon’s daughter, Mae Shella, one of the PDEA agents “planted” the evidences leading to her father’s arrest.
Mae Shella added that her father was just cleaning his motorcycle when apprehended.
Bitoon was brought to Iloilo for detention and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
