
BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu weighing about 650 grams and valued at around P4.4 million was seized in a drug sting operation in Barangay Matab-ang, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
Armed with two search warrants, officers of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) raided the house of 57-year-old “high-value” target Rhodora Hamantoc and her 25-year-old adopted son Markline Cuadra on July 25, a police report showed.

Their companions Robert Descutibo, Eul Vincent Suanico, and Ellan Vhone Escover were also arrested, police said.
Hamantoc and Cuadra – former residents of Barangay 2 in this city – were under surveillance for weeks.
The suspects were held by the PDEA Region 6.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them./PN
