BACOLOD City – A 31-year-old trisikad driver from Barangay Felisa was charged with raping his 10-year-old daughter.
Two counts of rape were filed against the suspect at the City Prosecutor’s Office on Monday, said Senior Police Officer 4 Arlyn Torrendon, head of the Bacolod City Police Office’s Women and Children Protection Desk.
Torrendon said the father was arrested after the girl told her mother about the sexual assault on Saturday. A medical certificate issued by a City Health Office physician supported the allegation, the officer said.
The incident happened after the couple had an argument over the mother’s refusal to have sex with the father. The fight caused the mother to leave the house./PN
