DAO, CAPIZ – A Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) chairperson was tagged as suspect in stabbing to death his kasimaryo past 2 a.m. Friday in Sitio Pinay, Barangay Lacaron, Dao here.
The said youth leader was identified as John Paul Delfin, legal age and resident of Barangay Pasugue, Panit-an while the victim was Richard Baarde, also of legal age and resident of Barangay Pasugue.
According to reports, citing an initial investigation of Dao Municipal Police Station, the victim and the suspect were in a “baylehan” in Barangay Lacason when the commotion transpired. The suspect allegedly stab the victim on the right portion of his chest.
In an interview with Bombo Radyo Roxas, a witness said that they saw the suspect stabbing the victim.
The victim was rushed to Dao District Hospital but was declared dead-on-arrival.
The suspect remains at large as of the press time.
