TOTO TIA TEN Trucking and Fabson Solane kept their undefeated record in the 1st Ganzon Cup Big Shots Sports Basketball League.
Comprising players from University of Iloilo and Hercor College, Fabson Solane escaped with a 76-70 victory after surviving an endgame rally by JAV Calibration at the Katilingban gymnasium in Molo, Iloilo City.
Fabson Solane had a strong start and went up by as much as 20 points during the Tuesday night match. JAV Calibration went for a last push in the second half but this was not enough as Fabson Solane managed clutch conversions to seal the win.
Bongbong Talimay was hailed Player of the Game for leading Fabson Solane’s strong start. Edu Allado also helped the team offensively to improve to a 3-0 win-loss card.
Toto Tia Ten, on the other hand, cruised to its third straight victory after an 85-79 scoring over J. Cordon Construction. Delbert Toreno and Gerry Abadiano spearheaded the offense for Toto Tia Ten.
Action resumes today with Starr VA Sports/Asialink and ILOPRISAA (University of San Agustin) facing at 5:30 p.m. and J. Cordon Construction and Jav Calibration battling at 7 p.m./PN
