CAPIZ – The Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) approved the partial funding of the Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital (RMPH) — P17, 543, 955.36.
The proposed Supplemental Budget for RMPH was P47.5 million.
The P17, 543, 955.36 is for the salaries of job orders, job hire and contract-of-service workers for the months of October, November and December, said SP member Jonathan Sonny Besa, chairman of the Committee on Finance and Appropriations.
Of the approved budget, P3.8 million is for General Services while P13.6 million is for Professional Services.
Besa also clarified that the salaries of job orders and contract-of-service employees for August and September were not included in the approved budget because it was clear in the documents submitted by the Budget Office to the SP that there was enough fund for their salaries for the said months.
Meanwhile, the proposed budget for medicine and medical laboratory supplies of the hospital is still pending for approval.
Besa said they are still waiting for the RMPH to submit the needed documents like the purchase order and delivery receipt, among others./PN
