ILOILO City – Around five people beat him up in Barangay Laguda, La Paz district yesterday, a 24-year-old man told the police.
Narding Larotan, a resident of Santa Barbara, Iloilo, sustained a lacerated left eyebrow and body pains, a police report showed.
Larotan told the police there was a “misunderstanding” between him and his attackers at around 2:30 a.m. He could not identify them.
The men charged at him, which led to a chase. They cornered and ganged up on him in Barangay Laguda, said Larotan.
A resident helped him. That was when the suspects fled.
Iloilo City Emergency Responders team personnel applied first aid on Larotan before referring him to the West Visayas State University Medical Center in Jaro./PN
