ILOILO City – Why were they stabbed?
Two men were stabbed in Barangay Poblacion Zone 2, Balasan, Iloilo.
Niel Bansurto and Huanso Magallanes were taken to the Jesus M. Colmenares Memorial District Hospital in Balasan where they were confined.
The victims were walking in the village where they also lived at around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday when attacked.
A police report identified the suspect only as a certain “Acos.”
Bansurto and Magallanes sustained stab wounds on their stomachs.
The suspect fled after the incident. His whereabouts remained unknown as of this writing.
