BACOLOD City – Four suspects in the stabbing of a 25-year-old resident of Barangay Granada were arrested on Sunday.
Jimboy Castillar, 18, Mark Leen Bontilao, 24, and Leonard Mañalac Jr., 20, of Barangay Estefania, and Roy Cortez, 20, of Barangay Bata were hauled to the Police Station 5 lockup cell.
Someone stabbed Rain Heart Talimodao with a balisong (butterfly knife) during a commotion at the gymnasium during the village fiesta, police said.
Police have yet to identify who among them stabbed Talimodao. Officers recovered the butterfly knife from Cortez.
Talimodao was wounded on the waist and left arm. He was taken to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital./PN
