AKLAN – Operatives of the Aklan Police Provincial Office’s Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) apprehended a 23-year-old student in a buy-bust operation on the evening of March 11, in Barangay Tigayon, Kalibo town.
Alias “Alog,” a resident of the town’s Barangay Poblacion, yielded approximately 10 grams of suspected dried marijuana with an estimated value of P2,000.
The suspect was caught by the PDEU led by Police Manor Jerome S. Manahan, and supported by the Kalibo Municipal Police Station (MPS), after he sold one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected marijuana to a poseur buyer.
Also recovered were buy-bust item, P1,000 in buy-bust money, and a mobile phone used for the transaction.
The suspect was detained at the Kalibo MPS for proper disposition./PN
