ILOILO City – A refrigeration technician of a waffle company reported to the police that his supervisor repeatedly punched him.
Leo Torres Jr., 30, of Barangay Ungka I, Pavia, Iloilo identified his attacker as Joemar Dela Cruz, 28, of Barangay Tacas, Jaro district.
Torres was at work on a portable ladder in a KTV bar at Smallville entertainment complex in Mandurriao around 2:45 p.m. on Oct. 11 when Dela Cruz told him to come down, a police report showed.
His supervisor then punched him several times, hitting him on the mouth and ears, Dela Cruz told the police. Their coworkers pacified them.
Torres claimed he did not know why his supervisor attacked him.
Police referred the case to the barangay lupon in San Rafael, Mandurriao./PN
