ILOILO – A 16-year-old lad confessed to having killed a 13-year-old boy in Pototan, Iloilo. He surrendered to the police on Thursday night, March 31.
The suspect was accompanied by his parents.
He told the police he had a heated argument with the victim whom he claimed bullied him over the computer game Mobile Legends.
The suspect admitted to hitting the victim with a hammer several times on March 30 allegedly in self-defense because his young friend tried to stab him with a knife.
The suspect is now in the custody of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office of Pototan. He would be charged with murder.
The victim, Raul Pacheco Jr., was found dead by his father in the kitchen of their house./PN
