ILOILO – In Barangay Ubos Ilaya, Miag-ao town, a barangay council secretary accused of corruption was arrested on March 31.
Ruben Farochilen, 39, was served with an arrest warrant by the police at around 8:35 a.m. and was taken to the Miag-ao police station.
Farochilen was charged with violation of the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act.
The court set his bail bond at P60,000 for his temporary liberty./PN
