ILOILO City – For allegedly stealing a pair of jeans from a mall on Ledesma Street, City Proper, a 48-year-old woman was arrested.
Shailinie Lozada was detained in the Police Station 1 lockup cell.
Unitop mall head security guard Analyn Acosta placed Lozada under citizen arrest around 4 p.m. on May 27.
Lozada took the clothing item worth P480, placed it in her shoulder bag and left the establishment without paying for it, Acosta told the police.
The suspect was a native of Barangay Bilibiran, Binangonan, Rizal but temporarily residing in Barangay Aguirre, Sara, Iloilo, a police report showed.
Police recovered the pair of jeans from Lozada./PN
