ILOILO City – A sports utility vehicle (SUV) figured in a road accident early Friday morning, December 19, in Barangay Quintin Salas, Jaro district.
In a local radio interview, Patrolman Japeth Cudo of the Iloilo City Police Office’s Traffic Enforcement Unit said while driving a Ford Everest from Leganes, Iloilo, alias “Lito”, 45, dozed off for a short while and crashed into concrete road barriers and flower pots.
Due to the impact the SUV swerved to the other lane and turned turtle.
A total of five concrete barriers and four flower pots were damaged.
Cudo added that the driver was unharmed but the left bumper of his vehicle was wrecked./PN
