Tangub local stabbed to death

BACOLOD City – For allegedly stabbing his uncle to death, a resident in Barangay Tangub was arrested.

The 34-year-old Mark Lowell Atiemza was accused of killing his 48-year-old uncle Ciriaco Pabalinas.

According to police investigators, Pabalinas was inside his house preparing breakfast when he was attacked by Atiemza for no apparent reason around 8:40 a.m. on Sept. 25.

It was, however, not immediately established what was the motive in the incident.

Pabalinas was rushed to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Regional Hospital in this city but eventually succumbed to multiple stab wounds on the chest.

The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 8, facing charges./PN
