ANTIQUE – A teacher was apprehended in a manhunt operation in Barangay Funda-Dalipe, San Jose de Buenavista on Monday, March 25.
The operation was carried out at around 4 p.m. by personnel from the San Remigio Municipal Police Station (MPS), in coordination with the San Jose de Buenavista MPS.
Captain Dominick C. Parreño, acting chief of San Remigio police, identified the accused as alias “Gol-Gol,” 35, unmarried, and a resident of Barangay Iguirindon, San Remigio.
The suspect was informed of his rights and immediately arrested for five counts of violation of Republic Act No. 7610, also known as the “Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act,” under the arrest warrant issued by Hon. Ernesto Labio Abijay.
Bail was recommended at P10,000 per charge./PN
