ILOILO – A 16-year-old lad was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head in Barangay Don T. Lutero East, Janiuay.
“Michael” was discovered by his friend “Clark” bathing in blood and having a gash on his head past 9 p.m. on Jan. 4, according to Police Senior Master Sergeant Francisco Provido of Janiuay.
A resident of the town’s Barangay Barasalon, the lad was tending to the animals of the Galan family with his friend.
The Janiuay police have sent the recovered .45 caliber pistol found at the scene for ballistics examination to determine its owner.
Meanwhile, Cicelia expressed her belief that there may have been foul play in her son’s death.
The family also wants Michael’s remains to undergo a postmortem examination./PN
