ILOILO – A teenager was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Aspera, Sara, Iloilo, at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 24.
Alias “Mekmek” was a resident of Barangay Aposaga of the said town.
Police recovered the buy-bust money and two sachets of suspected shabu weighing about one gram and valued at P7,000.
The operation was carried out by joint forces of the Sara Municipal Police Station (MPS) and the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit.
The teenager is being held at the Sara MPS pending turnover to the Department of Social Welfare and Development./PN
