BACOLOD City – Police confiscated a firearm from a 19-year-old resident of Barangay Taculing on Tuesday afternoon.
Lony Arelolo Dechosa Jr. yielded one .38-caliber pistol loaded with four live bullets.
A complainant identified as Lito Tamarong Encila told police operatives that Dechosa arrived with a gun at an eatery on Bangga Paredes Street, Barangay Taculing Road.
Police Station 6 immediately responded and arrested the suspect. His firearm was also confiscated.
Meanwhile, a 25-year-old man was also caught with an unlicensed firearm on the same day.
Police arrested Ronnie Laporca Ramos, who yielded one pen gun with two live bullets of a .45-caliber pistol, at a coffee shop on 23rd Street, Barangay 5 in this city.
Investigation said Ramos threatened the 18-year-old Jero Aristosa Rebote at the coffee shop.
The shop’s owner pacified the suspect and immediately called the police.
The suspect is currently detained./PN
