BACOLOD City – Two drug suspects were arrested in a buy-bust operation on Monday on Osmena Avenue, Barangay 5, Victorias City.
Around 9:10 p.m., the police arrested Rommel “Piang” Canlas, 39, a resident of Bangga Daan, Barangay 1 in the city, and Jeson Tamon Albis, 26, of Hacienda Sta. Cruz, Barangay 20 also in the city.
Canlas is the No. 1 in the police’s baseline watch list. He was also a drug surrenderer of the Oplan Tokhang campaign.
Confiscated from them were the buy-bust item; six small and two elongated sachets of suspected shabu; drug paraphernalia; one brown coin purse; P210 cash amount in different denominations; one cell phone; and P300 buy-bust.
One Racal motorcycle, meanwhile, was confiscated from Jeson./PN
