BACOLOD City – Task Force Kasanag (TFK) is fully supporting federalism.

John Chiong, TFK national commander, together with the Save Our Language through Federalism (SOLFed) head Dante Liban, signed an agreement with the Department of Interior and Local Government in Iloilo City on Sept. 26.

Chiong said the agreement “signifies TFK’s partnership with SOLFed” in promoting the proposed shift to a federal form of government, which is being championed by President Rodrigo Duterte.

Chiong believed that federalism will minimize corruption and that it’s a way to reform the government.

Chiong claimed the corruption starts from the judiciary government.

TFK and SOLFed will facilitate information campaigns supporting federalism.

In Isabela, Negros Occidental, a municipal convention for federalism was conducted on Sept. 9 to 11.

About 500 local officials and government employees attended the convention.

Chiong said they will conduct a federalism forum in Roxas City, Capiz./PN
