ILOILO City – The police arrested a theft suspect in Barangay Don Esteban, Lapuz district.
Brownwyn Escala, 26, was taken to the La Paz district police station around 10:05 p.m. on Wednesday.
The police were armed with an arrest warrant issued by Judge Loida Diesto-Maputol of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 28.
As of this writing, it was unclear if Escala was able to post bail for his temporary liberty.
The court set the bail bond at P20,000./PN
