ILOILO City – Two apartment occupants in Barangay Kasing-kasing, Molo district lost various belongings to a thief, a police report showed.
The 24-year-old Mary Grace Calaor, a medical technologist, told the police a noise woke her up around 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
An unidentified man standing near the door of their bedroom hurriedly ran upon seeing her awake, Calaor said.
When she checked their belongings, she found that her red knapsack containing syringes, blood tubes, assorted documents, and an iPhone 5s was missing.
Her roommate, 24-year-old nurse Anzen Kate Lopez, lost her iPhone 3G, Calaor told the police.
The suspect entered the apartment via the unlocked gate and by opening Calaor’s bedroom door through a nearby window, police investigation showed.
