BACOLOD City – The timely response of Cadiz City policemen resulted to the arrest of three robbery suspects.
The following allegedly entered a warehouse in Barangay Zone 3, Cadiz City around 2:30 a.m. on Nov. 10:
* July Asuncion Vergara, 32, of Purok Paraiso, Barangay Daga, Cadiz City
* Christian Sepatosi Tondag, 21, of Barangay Zone 1, Cadiz City, and
* Rene Buyan Rivera, 31, of Villa Cristina, Barangay Zone 1, Cadiz City.
According to Superintendent Edel Jose Manzano, Cadiz City police chief, they received a telephone call from the owner of GKMM warehouse, Geronie Barredo.
The warehouse was in Barangay Zone 3.
According to Barredo, burglars took the coins inside a water dispenser, and the firearm of Security Guard Erwin Besañes of San Jose Village, Barangay Poblacion 2, Sagay City.
The security guard joined the responding policemen in looking for the suspects and spotted them at the Cadiz City Park.
After a brief chase, the suspects were taken to the Cadiz police station.
They yielded coins, a .38 caliber revolver with five bullets, and one 10-inch long knife./PN
