BACOLOD City – Six persons were caught engaging in illegal gambling in Barangay Cabatangan, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
Ariel Santiago, 42; Wilfredo Natuel, 61; Ruby Santiago, 50; Albert Mendoza, 36; Ernesto Natuel, 76; and Gedion Agravante, 53, were all residents of the said village, a police report showed
Police chanced upon them playing the illegal cards game tong-its around 3:40 p.m. on Dec. 20.
Confiscated from their possession were two decks of playing cards and P955 bet money.
The suspects were taken to the Talisay City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
