Are you still dreaming of this subcompact crossover?
It seems like it was just yesterday that everyone in the country was drooling over the prospect of the Toyota C-HR’s local arrival, and here we are almost a year later…still dreaming of the day we see it in Philippine showrooms.
The subcompact crossover never made it to our shores despite numerous sightings on Philippine roads, so fans of the vehicle are still left wanting—and this clamor doesn’t look like it’s going to change since the Japanese car manufacturer just released the refreshed version in Europe.
Toyota builds on its edgy crossover’s energetic look with more tech, refinement and the availability of a new 2.0-liter hybrid powertrain (hp) capable of a combined 184hp. Units that come with this setup also benefit from an improved suspension system that the brand claims provides better handling.
Outside, the C-HR gets upgraded headlight projectors and light-emitting diode daytime running lights, as well as a new gloss black spoiler. Supposedly, the vehicle sees an improvement in noise, vibration and harshness levels and reduced cabin noise.
The C-HR’s entertainment setup now comes with an Apple CarPlay- and Android Auto-capable multimedia system.
