BACOLOD City – A tricycle driver – considered a “high-value target” by the police – was arrested around 8:15 p.m. Friday along the national road of Purok Camia, Barangay Old Poblacion. Escalante City in Negros Occidental.
Superintendent Necerato Sabando, Jr., Escalante City police head, identified the suspect as Jefrey Sinining Hoyohoy, 23, a tricycle driver and resident.
Found in his possession were three heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected “shabu” weighing more or less 0.12 grams; P500 in buy-bust money, and one passenger tricycle which was impounded by Escalante City police .
The suspect was detained and charged with violation of Republic Act 9165./PN
