BACOLOD City – A tricycle driver was arrested in a drug sting operation at Carmela Homes Subdivision in Barangay Zone 12, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
Eight sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P20,400 were seized from Rico Barcelona, a police report showed.
Prior to his arrest on Jan. 19, Barcelona – resident Barangay Zone 16, Talisay City – allegedly sold a sachet of the prohibited substance to an undercover cop for P500.
Detained in the lockup cell of the Talisay City police station, the suspect faces charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
