CAPIZ – Two motorcycle drivers died while one back rider was injured after their motorcycles collided Tuesday night in Barangay Tabuc Norte, Panitan, Capiz.
The fatalities were identified as Jefsie Casabon 29, a municipal employee of Panitan and resident of the said barangay and Joel Diva, 35 of Barangay Bahit, Panitan while the injured backrider of Diva was Carlito Veneza, 60, also of Barangay Dahit.
Initial investigation showed that both motorcycles were heading in the opposite direction when the head-on collision transpired.
Casabo was rushed to a private hospital in Roxas City but was declared dead on arrival while Diva and Veneza were brought to Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital but Diva also died while Veneza is currently undergoing treatment.
