ILOILO City – Officers seized an unlicensed .38 revolver from a 35-year-old man, a police report showed.
Bernie Mainar, a resident of Barangay Gines Patag, Cabatuan, Iloilo, was detained at the municipal police station.
Police caught him carrying the firearm in Barangay Ayaman, Cabatuan at around 3:05 p.m. on Jan. 9.
Mainar did not have the valid documents proving his legal ownership of the weapon.
He could face a charge for violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
