ILOILO City – For owning an unlicensed gun, a former security guard was arrested in Barangay Santa Monica, Oton, Iloilo.
Armed with a search warrant, officers of the municipal police station raided the house of 44-year-old resident Ludivico Amador around 9 a.m. on Sept. 17, a police report showed.
A .38-caliber revolver with live bullets was recovered from the suspect’s house, the report added.
Amador was detained in the Oton police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
