Valladolid local yields 21 sachets of ‘shabu’

BACOLOD City – Twenty one sachets of suspected shabu were confiscated from a man in Barangay Poblacion, Valladolid, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.

The 32-year-old resident Rommel Ocol was nabbed around 9:30 p.m. on Friday.

This was after officers from the municipal police station served him with a search warrant issued by Judge Frances Guanzon of the Regional Trial Court Branch 62 in Bago City, Negros Occidental on Sept. 3.

Aside from the suspected drugs, drug paraphernalia were also recovered from Ocol.

He was detained in the lockup cell of the Valladolid municipal police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
