BACOLOD City – A variety store in Barangay Cabacungan, La Castellana, Negros Occidental has been robbed.
Around P210,000 worth of jewelry items and cash kept inside have gone missing.
Owner Nida Villaluz discovered the burglary at 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
She told the La Castellana municipal police station that the store’s sliding steel door appeared forcibly bent.
Villaluz discovered upon reviewing security camera footage that two people bared into the store.
She then found her two watches worth P60,000, a gold bracelet worth P50,000 and P100,000 cash missing from her cash drawer.
Police were still investigating the incident./PN
