ILOILO City – A couple stabbed and punched a vendor at the Jaro Metropolitan Cathedral, a police report showed.
Lalaine Diamante, a resident of Barangay Gumacas, Pototan, Iloilo, told the police she had a heated argument with a woman she identified only as “Jennifer.”
Jennifer stabbed Diamante in the chest with an umbrella while Jennifer’s husband “Araw” punched her on the forehead, police said.
The police report showed the couple was from Barangay Bakhaw, Mandurriao district.
Diamante was taken to the West Visayas State University Medical Center.
The incident happened around 1 p.m. on Wednesday./PN
