ILOILO City – A 52-year-old resident of Pototan, Iloilo was arrested for violation of the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act.
Police served Julianito Pendon a warrant of arrest around 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 15 in Barangay Cayos, Dumangas town.
Pendon, who lived at 37 Lopez Jaena St., Pototan, was accused of “causing physical harm to the woman or her child” (Section 5).
Regional Trial Court Branch 68 (Dumangas) Presiding Judge Vicente Go issued the arrest warrant on Sept. 29.
He set the bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty at P36,000./PN
