ILOILO City – A business process outsourcing (BPO) company employee was threatened by a coworker, police said.
Kathryn Carl Polangco of Voiceless Technologies was about to ride their company van in Plazuela de Iloilo in Barangay San Rafael, Mandurriao district — she was headed to their office at Cornerstone Business Center — when Jay Nase grabbed her.
“Do you want me to kill you? Ipapatay ta ka,” Polangco told the police, quoting Nase as saying. “Waay na di labot ang opisina!”
Another coworker tried to pacify Nase, but the latter kept his grip on Polangco until she broke free, said the police.
Nase was allegedly harboring a grudge against Polangco, who reported to their company that he was bullying her and their coworkers./PN
